Welcome to Quigley Park Neighborhood

Hi folks,

It was obvious at the last meeting that there is great interest in establishing block captains for as many of the blocks in Quigley Park as possible.  A block captain is in charge of maintaining and distributing a current list of residents on the block and their contact information, all in case of emergency.  The best way to maintain the list is on a computer, although handwritten is fine too, but you willl need to make copies of the list for distribution.  As soon as I have all of the volunteers to serve as captains, I will send out a form you can use to collect the information from your neighbors.
The best way to do this is to go door-to-door.  It is important to let your neighbors know that this is entirely optional; some folks may not want their contact information to be disclosed to others.  Let them know that potentially everyone on the block will have access to their address and phone number.  Once your information has been gathered, each neighbor should receive a copy of the list.

We need captains for (I kept the 2800-2900 blocks together since they are one street):

2600, 2700, 2800-2900 blocks of Cagua
2800 block of Claremont Pl.
2600, 2800-2900 blocks of Cardenas  (I will volunteer for 2700 block of Cardenas) 2600, 2700, 2800-2900 blocks of Valencia 2600, 2700, 2800-2900 blocks of Alvarado 2800-2900 blocks of Cuervo 2600, 2700, 2800-2900 blocks of Palomas 2800-2900 blocks of La Veta 2800-2900 blocks of Madeira 5200 block of Los Arboles 2900 block of Ortiz

Please email or contact me at work (277-0268) if you would like to volunteer to be a block captain.
